Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Software Engineer to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Space Mission Systems Software Engineering organization. The role involves leading the development of pipeline infrastructure for software engineering teams and implementing DevSecOps practices for satellite system software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software teams or projects
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps or DevSecOps
• 5+ years of experience with test automation
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tools
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 9+ years of experience or equivalent experience
• Experience in satellite software domain
• Proficient with GitLab ecosystem
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience with containerization and orchestration
• Experience in build automation
• Experience with RMF security controls
• Proficient with modern software development methodologies
• Proficient with various software development languages and tools
• Experience in configuration management and deployment
• Experience leading software development lifecycle tasks

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of DevSecOps processes and tools
• Automate and improve software development and security controls
• Collaborate with teams to build secure software development pipelines
• Implement current technologies and regulations in DevSecOps
• Install and configure integrated software engineering environments
