Job summary

The Lead Infrastructure Architect at FSRA is responsible for shaping and maintaining the organization's hybrid cloud environment, providing technical leadership, and ensuring secure and scalable technology platforms.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering
  • at least 5 years in a senior or lead technical role
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Strong expertise across core infrastructure domains
  • Deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about infrastructure needs
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, firewalls, and virtual networking
  • Experience supporting and integrating Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Office 365
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Working knowledge of security best practices
  • Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains cloud architecture governance
  • Leads long-term infrastructure roadmap strategic planning
  • Builds scalable, secure, and cost-optimized environments
  • Leads end-to-end capacity forecasting and scaling strategies
  • Oversees enterprise performance engineering
  • Establishes proactive observability and alerting
  • Leads enterprise automation initiatives
  • Strengthens FSRA’s security posture
  • Maintains enterprise disaster recovery, backup, and failover plans
  • Establishes reliability engineering practices
  • Leads architecture reviews and technical governance boards
  • Operates as the technical lead for infrastructure delivery
  • Leads major incident response
  • Defines and maintains infrastructure standards
  • Aligns infrastructure strategies and operations with compliance and audit standards
  • Owns key components of the infrastructure modernization roadmap
  • Works closely with architecture, development, and data teams
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Interacts with vendors and managed service providers
