Job summary

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on delivering infrastructure and performance excellence within Cloud Foundational Services. Key responsibilities include applying technical expertise to projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing 24/7 on-call support while leveraging AWS services such as compute, storage, and databases, along with AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, and automation
• Strong experience supporting workloads within Amazon Web Services (AWS), including core services knowledge
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and cloud platform certification(s)

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
• Drive a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
• Work with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize technology processes
• Execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
• Manage stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards and service level agreements
• Provide follow-the-sun 24/7 on-call support through a distributed team
