The Lead Infrastructure Engineer role is essential for delivering infrastructure and performance excellence within Cloud Foundational Services. Responsibilities include applying technical expertise to projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing 24/7 on-call support while utilizing AWS services and AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, and automation
• Strong experience supporting workloads within Amazon Web Services (AWS), including core services knowledge
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
• Drive a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
• Work with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize technology processes
• Execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting for moderate complexity problems
• Manage stakeholder relationships and team work in accordance with compliance standards and service level agreements
• Provide follow-the-sun 24/7 on-call support through a distributed team
