Job summary
The Lead Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on developing high-quality architecture solutions for software applications and platform products within the Infrastructure Platform - Network Services. Key responsibilities include managing network risk remediation, leading audit-driven execution, and ensuring operational excellence across on-prem and cloud environments through standardized engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering.
- Risk/controls exposure and tooling familiarity.
- Experience leading infrastructure engineering projects.
- Experience with enterprise-authorized AI capabilities.
- Ability to validate AI-assisted recommendations.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas.
- Proficiency in automation for engineering tasks.
- Demonstrated technical expertise and leadership.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid network environments.
Responsibilities
- Own network risk identification and remediation.
- Lead risk and audit-driven execution.
- Drive end-to-end execution by prioritizing work.
- Present status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.
- Lead risk remediation initiatives and execute solutions.
- Establish operational excellence through runbooks and standards.
- Build and maintain KRIs/KPIs and dashboards for reporting.
- Partner across functions to reduce operational and cyber risk.
- Lead team adoption of AI capabilities for improved delivery.
- Provide guidance and oversee work within the team.
- Identify and escalate issues to ensure compliance.
