Job summary

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on developing high-quality architecture solutions for software applications and platform products within the Infrastructure Platform - Network Services. Key responsibilities include managing network risk remediation, leading audit-driven execution, and ensuring operational excellence across on-prem and cloud environments through standardized engineering practices.

Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering.
  • Risk/controls exposure and tooling familiarity.
  • Experience leading infrastructure engineering projects.
  • Experience with enterprise-authorized AI capabilities.
  • Ability to validate AI-assisted recommendations.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas.
  • Proficiency in automation for engineering tasks.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and leadership.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid network environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own network risk identification and remediation.
  • Lead risk and audit-driven execution.
  • Drive end-to-end execution by prioritizing work.
  • Present status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.
  • Lead risk remediation initiatives and execute solutions.
  • Establish operational excellence through runbooks and standards.
  • Build and maintain KRIs/KPIs and dashboards for reporting.
  • Partner across functions to reduce operational and cyber risk.
  • Lead team adoption of AI capabilities for improved delivery.
  • Provide guidance and oversee work within the team.
  • Identify and escalate issues to ensure compliance.
