Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive experience in development or application support
- Knowledge of business processes and competitive strategies in IT
- Ability to identify risk and security gaps and develop remediation plans
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and production turnover of database services and servers
- Creation of databases and support for logical model developments
- Maintain documentation and backup/recovery procedures
- Assist with user access requirements and database design
- Review vendor configurations and patches
- Provide technical documentation on technology standards
- Collaborate on OS settings and recommendations
- Measure performance of transactional databases
- Support management of database systems and security functions
- Escalate support for Change, Release, Incident, Request, and Configuration Management processes
- Research RDBMS and Database Service technology trends
- Project execution and service design
