Lead Platform Engineer

Job summary

The Lead Platform Engineer is responsible for enterprise-wide identity and access management across Microsoft and Okta platforms, leading a team and designing IAM solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy and hybrid identity architectures.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Experience with Azure Application Proxy or similar technologies.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives while being hands-on.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of IAM Engineers.
• Define engineering standards and technical direction.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews.
• Drive project planning and team capacity planning.
• Contribute to the IAM strategy and technology roadmap.
• Design and evolve IAM solutions using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Automate Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes.
• Implement secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Integrate applications using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM.
• Maintain hybrid identity services across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop PowerShell automation for provisioning and efficiency.
• Ensure health, scalability, resilience, and security of the identity platform.
• Plan and implement IAM projects and enhancements.
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.
• Provide guidance during major incidents.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams.
• Evaluate emerging identity technologies for improvements.
