Job summary

The Vice President of Platform Engineering leads technical projects within the ADAPT team, focusing on AWS-native platforms and integrations with Atlassian and ServiceNow. Responsibilities include defining the platform strategy, overseeing AWS cloud engineering, architecting enterprise integrations, and enhancing developer experience through automation and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud/integration engineering
• 3+ years leading senior technical projects
• Expert-level experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code
• Deep experience delivering enterprise integrations across Atlassian and ServiceNow
• Strong track record designing event-driven, API-first cloud integrations
• Fluent in modern CI/CD, containerization, observability, and secure-by-design cloud architecture
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and multi-year roadmap for the ADAPT platform
• Lead the design, build, and operation of secure, scalable AWS foundations
• Own the engineering strategy for Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and ServiceNow
• Architect and deliver enterprise integrations between AWS, Atlassian, ServiceNow, Workday, and other core SaaS platforms
• Build reusable components and self-service tooling to accelerate the software development lifecycle
• Ensure the ADAPT platform meets availability, security, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with application engineering, HC Technology, IT Operations, and business stakeholders
• Mentor a team of platform and integration engineers across geographies
