The Lead Platform Engineer is tasked with managing the Google Cloud platform and overseeing the production process for engineering teams. Responsibilities include designing scalable infrastructure with Terraform, managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and ensuring security compliance while leading an infrastructure engineer. Qualifications

• Experience as a platform or infrastructure engineer
• Hands-on experience with GCP
• Strong Terraform skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience with observability tools
• Mentoring experience
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete rollout of the next platform version
• Move acquired sites to a common build path
• Strengthen edge protection and resilience
• Provide visibility of deployments
• Define prototype to production route
• Design and run infrastructure on GCP
• Manage CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
• Set up monitoring and alerting
• Lead incident root cause analysis
• Ensure regulatory compliance
