Job summary

The Lead Platform Reliability Engineer ensures the stability, performance, and scalability of the shared platform supporting internal AI solution development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering or Production Operations
• Proven track record operating large-scale distributed systems
• Operational experience with cloud-native development
• Knowledge of Python and/or Java/Scala/TypeScript
• Understanding of AI solutions and LLM systems
• Knowledge of API design and reliability engineering
• Familiarity with security and compliance for AI/data systems
• Ability to collaborate across global teams

Responsibilities

• Define SLOs/SLIs
• Track operations budgets
• Reduce MTTR
• Capacity plan
• Tune autoscaling
• Build and maintain logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting
• Instrument platform components
• Create runbooks and dashboards
• On-call for platform incidents
• Triage and mitigate incidents
• Drive postmortems and corrective actions
• Develop self-service capabilities and operational automations
• Manage clusters, networks, storage, and policies via Terraform/Ansible
• Enforce identity/RBAC and secrets management
• Optimize resource usage and control spend
• Implement safe rollouts and progressive delivery
• Define operations SLAs and collaborate with global teams
