Job summary
The Lead Platform Reliability Engineer at Manulife is responsible for managing Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure PaaS, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring platform efficiencies and compliance. This role involves leading platform evolutions, optimizing product performance, and mentoring team members in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure support and administration
- Deep experience with Azure architecture and AKS/IAAS/PAAS/CICD pipeline
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps
- Broad knowledge of related technical disciplines
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Advise and implement for Platform Services on Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure PaaS, CI/CD pipeline, and platform roadmaps
- Assist in the management of Azure subscriptions and services
- Involved in Azure financial management/cost savings
- Contribute to the development of team’s technical acumen
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Assist in the management and delivery of large projects
- Mentor and share knowledge within GWAM
- Develop internal relationships
- Plan and manage upgrades
- Govern Security Model and Risk Solutions transition to operations
- Deploy third party solutions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and operational support teams
