Job summary

Lead Security Engineer responsible for designing, building, and shipping production-quality software for endpoint security platforms, driving technical direction, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts and 5+ years experience
• Advanced proficiency in major programming languages
• Hands-on experience managing endpoint platforms
• Experience with containers, public cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code
• Proficiency in the software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of secure development practices
• Ability to decompose complex technical problems
• Experience as a technical lead

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-quality software across Mac, Windows, Linux, and virtual desktop environments
• Architect and operate a managed binary allowlisting platform
• Develop and maintain cross-platform endpoint authentication tooling
• Modernize system policy deployment using GitOps principles
• Drive technical direction and day-to-day execution
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Identify and architect automation solutions for manual processes
• Collaborate with application teams and security stakeholders
• Apply secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle
