Job summary

The Lead / Senior Data Platform Engineer is tasked with designing and building the technical foundation and infrastructure of a new Data Platform from scratch, focusing on data capture, storage, and availability for business intelligence tools. Key responsibilities include deploying end-to-end Cloud Data infrastructure on AWS, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring data governance and security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer
• Expertise in AWS data and infrastructure services
• Strong skills in data modeling, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse
• Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
• Experience in creating ETL/ELT pipelines and interfacing with BI tools

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy end-to-end Cloud Data infrastructure on AWS
• Build technical data foundation (ingestion, storage, transformation, exposure) progressively
• Engage with business teams to source and frame priority data use cases
• Capture, clean, and structure information flows for effective BI integration
• Ensure security, governance, high availability, and scalability of the data platform
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and apply Infrastructure as Code best practices
