Lead Site Reliability Administrator

Job summary

The Site Reliability Administrator at OpenText will bridge the gap between software engineering and operations, focusing on the administration and management of containerized infrastructure. The role involves designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software features, as well as optimizing cloud environments and container-based applications.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Linux systems and experience with virtualization technologies
• Experience on GitOps based deployments and tools
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Strong ansible and terraform coding skills
• Experience with containers and knowledge of Kubernetes in multiple flavors

Responsibilities

• Run software applications on containerized public and private cloud infrastructure
• Plan, test, and implement solutions for monitoring, alerting, and observability of platform services
• Deploy, manage, and optimize application containers and their security
• Build methods to advance automation and security for cloud and container-based applications
• Develop standards, policies, and procedures as well as best practices documentation
• Automate solutions to follow ITIL and change management procedures
