Job summary

The Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Vista will focus on improving reliability across the organization by analyzing incidents, prioritizing improvements, and influencing engineering interventions. The role involves hands-on support, leading technical discussions, and partnering with various teams to enhance operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands-on Site Reliability, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience driving adoption of a reliability or platform pattern
• Strong systems thinking and a demonstrable bias toward simple solutions
• Hands-on experience with the modern reliability stack
• Hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model tooling

Responsibilities

• Identify patterns of failure across the organisation
• Analyse incidents and post-incident reviews
• Prioritise the biggest improvement levers
• Turn those patterns into the right engineering intervention
• Help teams hands-on, in their code
• Disseminate and evangelise improvements across the organisation
• Lead the technical conversation in post-incident reviews
• Help the Incident Response Team grow its engineering practice
• Partner across teams without direct authority
