Job summary

The Lead Site Reliability Engineer focuses on enhancing the reliability of enterprise-scale platforms through automation, tooling, and observability. Responsibilities include writing production software, defining SLIs and SLOs, and leading incident responses while leveraging technologies such as Python, Kubernetes, and Grafana to ensure systems are resilient and self-healing.

• Solid production coding experience in an industry-standard language
• Experience running production systems at scale
• Experience with SLI/SLO/error-budget practice

Responsibilities

• Engineer reliability into enterprise-scale platforms by writing production software
• Build systems around declarative, intent-based design
• Treat data as a first-class reliability asset
• Define and operationalize SLIs and SLOs with stakeholders
• Own services end-to-end
• Share an on-call rotation and act as a technical leader during major incidents
• Drive down toil measurably through automation
• Work AI-native across the SDLC
• Decompose ambiguous reliability problems into clear, executable work
• Set reliability standards and raise the engineering bar
