Job summary

The Lead Site Reliability Engineer will establish the Site Reliability Engineering function, emphasizing reliability, observability, and operational excellence through AI. Key responsibilities include defining reliability standards, automating processes, and enhancing incident response capabilities while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure service ownership and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Deep SRE experience
• Fluency with AI as an engineering tool
• Strong software engineering in Python
• Observability depth with OpenTelemetry and Datadog
• AWS at scale and Kubernetes managed through Infrastructure as Code

Responsibilities

• Define and land the reliability standard: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and production readiness criteria
• Encode standards into automation rather than enforcing them by hand
• Build SRE capability on AI platform
• Own observability as a practice
• Raise the standard of incident response end-to-end
• Measure toil and remove it through tooling
