The Platform Engineer role focuses on developing secure, high-quality production code and enhancing the operational stability of software applications. Key responsibilities include designing and operating Kubernetes-based platform services, automating CI/CD processes, and leading the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, and operational stability
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or Kotlin
• Experience in cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile domains
• Practical experience deploying Kubernetes applications on cloud providers
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows

Responsibilities

• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews/debugs code
• Develops composable infrastructure systems and capabilities
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues
• Provides operational support for production systems, including incident response
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams
• Leads communities of practice to drive awareness of new technologies
• Contributes to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
• Designs and operates Kubernetes-based platform services and automates CI/CD
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve outcomes
• Applies knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools to enhance automation
