Job summary

The Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role is responsible for implementing SRE frameworks to enhance global Google Cloud environments, ensuring high service level objectives through operational excellence. Key responsibilities include championing a DevOps model, providing technical supervision, and leveraging cloud-based technologies such as Google Observability and Azure Monitor, along with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Google & Azure cloud in mission-critical environments
• Strong understanding of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, shell scripting, or GO
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment, monitoring, and operations tools
• Experience using AI capabilities to enhance SRE workflows
• Ability to evaluate AI-assisted operational recommendations
• Understanding of Google Cloud governance, compliance, and cost management
• Knowledge of modern development technologies like Agile and CI/CD
• Understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks for AIOPS

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement SRE frameworks for global Google Cloud environments
• Provide support to improve technical engineering documentation
• Provide technical supervision and problem resolution for engineering activities
• Champion a DevOps model for automated and elastic services
