Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role focuses on enhancing the reliability and performance of customer-facing digital banking services. Key responsibilities include driving continuous improvement of reliability practices, building automation, and leading performance engineering efforts, while utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a software engineer with proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience operating and improving production systems in SRE capacity.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across services and infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud computing services.
• Ability to lead technically and influence stakeholders.
• Responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of reliability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Define and operationalize service-level indicators and objectives.
• Build automation and self-healing mechanisms.
• Lead performance engineering and capacity planning.
