Linux & Network Infrastructure Engineer (d/m/w)

Job summary

GeNUA is seeking a Linux & Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT Backend & DevOps team in Berlin and Kirchheim. The role involves the design, operation, and continuous development of the IT infrastructure, including networks, routing, VPN, and firewalls, as well as the administration of Linux and UNIX systems.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking
• Experience with open-source software
• Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
• Experience with automation solutions, preferably Puppet or Ansible
• Familiarity with Git and basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
• Interest in IT security and structured, solution-oriented work
• Team spirit and initiative
• Fluent in German and good English skills
