Job summary
Boeing is seeking a Linux Engineer to join the Infrastructure Team, responsible for the support and maintenance of the Redhat Linux server estate.
Qualifications
- DevOps/CI/CD process architecture/engineering experience
- Containerisation experience (Openshift, Docker, Podman)
- Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Fluency in at least one scripting language (Ruby, PowerShell, Python, Java)
- Experience in a secure and high availability environment
Responsibilities
- RHEL8 & 9 enterprise implementation and support
- Perform patching, software implementations, and upgrades
- Support the delivery of automated Infrastructure
- Automate patching and monitoring activities
- Collaborate with other teams to improve efficiency
- Fault diagnosis and mitigation planning
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call team
- Service and application migration activities (RHEL & OCP)
- Input and design review for container platforms and automation toolchains
