Linux System Administrator / DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

The role involves administering Debian Linux servers to ensure stable and secure operations while collaborating with development teams on server, network, and deployment management. Key responsibilities include automating installations and configurations with Ansible and Jenkins, managing container environments with Podman and Kubernetes, and implementing monitoring solutions using Zabbix and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Linux systems
• Experience in Linux administration
• Familiarity with Linux command line and Bash
• Knowledge of typical Linux tools
• Experience with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Apache and/or Nginx
• Experience with MariaDB and/or Redis
• Knowledge of Ansible
• Experience with Jenkins and Git
• Familiarity with mail server operations
• Experience with Zabbix or other monitoring solutions
• Basic knowledge of Node.js and/or Python
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault is a plus

Responsibilities

• Administer Debian Linux servers for stable and secure operations
• Manage web servers, databases, nameservers, and container environments
• Develop container infrastructure with Podman and Kubernetes
• Automate installations and configurations using Ansible and Jenkins
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and backup solutions
• Monitor systems, analyze errors, and optimize services and processes
• Support security updates, system hardening, and incident response
• Document infrastructure and technical processes in Markdown
• Collaborate with development teams on technical and infrastructural issues
• Manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault
