Job summary

The Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer role involves administering and optimizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments at an enterprise scale. Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Red Hat virtualization.
• Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Active Directory integration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in automation and modern enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Administer, patch, troubleshoot and performance-tune Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Design, implement and maintain Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
• Deploy and operate Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Administer VMware vSphere and Red Hat virtualization environments.
• Manage Linux identity services and integration with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity.
• Participate in incident resolution for critical infrastructure incidents.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
