M365 Platform Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to operate, automate, secure, and modernize the enterprise Microsoft 365 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Four or more years of IT support and systems administration
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services
• Experience administering identity and access services
• Experience using PowerShell for troubleshooting
• Understanding of modern endpoint and security practices
• Strong troubleshooting and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex incidents
• Monitor service health and security signals
• Deliver Microsoft 365 roadmap and backlog priorities
• Build and maintain automation using PowerShell
• Create repeatable configuration patterns and workflows
• Collaborate with cloud engineering and application teams
• Support modernization of endpoint and identity operations
• Evaluate and operationalize new Microsoft 365 capabilities
• Implement governance and security controls
• Plan production changes with appropriate testing
• Partner with Security, Identity, and Infrastructure teams
• Communicate platform changes and governance requirements
• Support adoption through release communications
