M365 Platform Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a remote M365 Platform Engineer for a full-time position supporting TSA – DHS. This role involves designing, building, operating, and supporting the Microsoft 365 platform, managing M365 services, and working with architects and governance teams to optimize service adoption. The engineer will also support platform integrations, policy enforcement, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant experience
• BA/BS degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and support the Microsoft 365 platform
• Implement secure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management across multi-tenant environments
• Manage M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID
• Align implementations with enterprise architecture standards and governance requirements
• Work with Lead Architects and enterprise governance teams to evaluate platform capabilities
• Analyze operational, security, and cost considerations
• Identify opportunities to optimize or expand M365 service adoption
• Support platform integrations, tenant configuration, and policy enforcement
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing for cloud and hybrid environments
• Implement DevOps principles for automation and configuration management within the M365 ecosystem
