Job summary

As a Machine Learning Engineer at CIBC, you will design, build, and maintain MLOps workflows, automate data pipelines, and ensure compliance and audit readiness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into production environments while mentoring peers and supporting junior members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Python, CI/CD, Databricks, Azure, MLOps, and familiarity with Kubernetes and Git.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions adhere to governance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support team growth by mentoring peers and contributing to team documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and enhance machine learning components and MLOps workflows.
• Implement compliant workflows with automated monitoring and audit-ready processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to integrate ML pipelines into production.
• Package models and manage deployment environments to meet governance policies.
• Stay current with emerging ML tools and drive enhancements across the MLOps platform.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor peers and junior team members.
