Job summary

Leads the target architecture and roadmap for a cloud data platform supporting agentic data engineering, analytics, and data science workflows, while guiding a small engineering team. The role improves security, governance, and observability across an Azure- and Snowflake-based platform; establishes DevSecOps practices and deployment pipelines; and develops data pipelines and agentic workflows for ingestion, data quality, and analytics operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform target-state architecture and roadmap.
• Lead a small team in designing and implementing platform improvements.
• Improve data platform security, governance, and observability.
• Establish and continuously improve DevSecOps practices.
• Oversee deployment pipelines for data pipelines, machine learning models, and user-facing web applications.
• Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines.
• Develop agentic workflows for ingestion, data quality management, and business-as-usual data and analytics tasks.
• Implement approaches to monitor and deploy AI agents and manage their context.
