Job summary
This manager-level consulting role helps organisations modernise technology delivery and strengthen DevOps maturity, engineering capabilities, and platform engineering. The role assesses current practices, develops DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks and transformation roadmaps, and leads CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud delivery platform initiatives. It also guides teams from strategy through implementation and adoption, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with technology, security, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Australian citizenship required.
- Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud engineering.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Git, and modern engineering toolchains.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
- Knowledge of security automation and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of engineering governance, standards, and quality frameworks.
- Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Responsibilities
- Improve clients' software delivery, DevOps maturity, and engineering capabilities.
- Assess current practices and identify opportunities to improve automation, security, quality, and delivery performance.
- Design and implement DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Define roadmaps for modern engineering and platform transformation.
- Lead the design of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code solutions, and cloud delivery platforms.
- Support project delivery from strategy and mobilisation through implementation and adoption.
- Mentor engineers and delivery teams and build their capabilities.
- Collaborate with technology, security, and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
