Job summary

The DevSecOps Engineering Manager at Avnet is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of secure software delivery practices. This role involves bridging security, engineering, and infrastructure teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams
• Extensive experience with cloud-native security tools and CSPM
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of leadership
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing DevSecOps engineering team
• Establish accountability models across application, infrastructure, and security teams
• Drive a culture of secure-by-design engineering
• Define and execute DevSecOps roadmap aligned with SSDLC standardization
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Lead security consolidation and optimization of SCM and CI/CD platforms
• Ensure alignment with security policies and incident response requirements
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and product development teams for secure SDLC
