Job summary
The Medior Azure Platform Engineer evolves a self-service orchestration platform for securely onboarding and operating credit-risk model workloads. The role designs reusable Azure services and automates infrastructure, testing, deployment, and operations while strengthening reliability and observability. The engineer works across product, architecture, risk, security, and model teams to make the platform easier to operate with less manual intervention.

Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, platform engineering, and data-intensive or workflow-orchestration services.
- At least 3 years of experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Airflow, and YAML.
- Hands-on CI/CD, Bicep or Terraform, automated testing, Python or another relevant language, and strong SQL skills.
- Experience with observability, incident management, reliability engineering, and secure cloud design, including identity, secrets, and network controls.
- Take responsibility from design through production and improve outcomes using evidence.
- Communicate clearly and work effectively across business and engineering disciplines.
- Simplify complex problems and balance delivery, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a relevant Azure certification; Azure Administrator Associate is an example.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve secure, scalable Azure services and reusable orchestration patterns.
- Automate infrastructure, testing, deployment, and operations to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
- Translate consumer needs into reusable self-service platform capabilities.
- Create configuration-driven onboarding patterns for credit-risk model workloads.
- Coordinate consumers, engineers, and control functions to enable controlled onboarding.
- Improve observability, define service indicators and objectives, and learn from incidents.
- Develop automated runbooks and establish clear service ownership.
- Use artificial intelligence responsibly for coding, documentation, troubleshooting, and operations, with attention to privacy, security, and human oversight.
