Microsoft DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The Microsoft DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure and automated Microsoft Azure platforms, managing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with various teams to enhance technology delivery.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Azure, cloud engineering or DevOps experience.
• Experience building and supporting Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in Agile and security-conscious environments.
• Understanding of relational database design principles.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Microsoft Azure environments.
• Support Azure landing zones, networking, compute, storage, backup and disaster recovery services.
• Optimise cloud platform performance, resilience, capacity and cost.
• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployment.
• Manage Git repositories and release processes.
• Implement monitoring and alerting.
• Investigate platform and deployment incidents.
• Embed DevSecOps controls into delivery pipelines.
• Partner with teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
