Job summary
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer designs and operates cloud infrastructure for an AI-powered process automation platform, using infrastructure as code throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. The role includes operating containerized applications on AWS EKS, administering Windows and Linux servers and cloud networking, automating tasks with scripts and CI/CD pipelines, and building proofs of concept to assess new technologies.

Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, a technical degree, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Windows and Linux server administration, and cloud networking.
- Knowledge of Git, GitLab, CI/CD strategies, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.
- Strong automation mindset and high standards for documentation, security, and reliability.
- Very good English; German is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through ongoing operations.
- Manage, monitor, and orchestrate containerized applications on AWS EKS.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers and networking components, including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.
- Automate repetitive tasks with Bash, Python, or PowerShell and develop CI/CD pipelines.
- Build minimum viable products and proofs of concept to evaluate technologies.
