Job summary
Mid-Level Observability Engineer responsible for application performance monitoring and infrastructure visibility, acting as the Dynatrace subject matter expert.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration with focus on observability.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace deployment and management.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with ITSM and alerting platforms integration.
- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGates.
- Instrument microservices, databases, and third-party applications.
- Create role-based dashboards and configure actionable alerts.
- Design and maintain synthetic checks for user behavior simulation.
- Assist incident response teams in identifying and resolving issues.
- Integrate observability into the deployment pipeline.
- Define, measure, and report on Service Level Indicators and Objectives.
