Job summary
This mid-level engineer supports and improves mission-critical service monitoring and service assurance systems for a large European internet service provider. The role covers monitoring services, servers, and devices; maintaining passive and proactive monitoring platforms; supporting pipelines; responding to incidents; and unifying solutions to improve network stability and efficiency. The work uses Linux, Bash, PowerShell, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Git.

Qualifications
- Scripting skills with Bash and PowerShell.
- Operating systems knowledge, especially Linux.
- Strong networking knowledge.
- Experience with Logstash, Filebeat, Metricbeat, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Ansible and Git.
- Experience with passive monitoring suites such as Nagios, Icinga, or Cacti.
- Understanding of active monitoring suites such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Result-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Programming experience with Python, Golang, or similar is an advantage.
