Job summary

The role focuses on the operation and support of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in daily activities, including first-level support, ticket management, and system monitoring. Responsibilities encompass incident management, testing developments in the WMS environment, and maintaining support documentation, requiring a solid understanding of IT operations and basic API concepts.

Qualifications

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable qualification
• Experience in operating and supporting applications, ideally in WMS/logistics
• Basic knowledge of interfaces/API topics and systematic error analysis
• Understanding of IT operational processes (incident/service request management, SLAs, escalation paths)
• Basic understanding of monitoring, IT security, and system availability
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Willingness to be on-call as per regulations

Responsibilities

• Operate and support the WMS in daily operations
• First-level support including ticket management and documentation
• Pre-analysis and escalation to 2nd/3rd level for complex issues
• System monitoring and alarm handling
• Support in incident and problem management
• Testing developments and interfaces in the WMS environment
• Maintain support and operational documentation
• Track issues to resolution including user communication

Relocation
