ML/MLOps Engineer (Germany)

Job summary

Andersen is hiring an ML/MLOps Engineer in Germany to build a cloud-native AI platform and deliver scalable machine learning solutions for the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a MLOps Engineer / ML Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Kubeflow Pipelines (KFP v2)
• Experience training models on GPUs
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs/transformers
• Experience with MLflow for model tracking
• Experience with boosting models (XGBoost, CatBoost)
• Proficiency in the Python ecosystem and engineering practices
• Experience in regulated cloud-native environments
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing
• CI/CD experience (preferably GitLab CI) and clean coding practices
• Intermediate+ level of English

Responsibilities

• Build and orchestrate ML pipelines using Kubeflow Pipelines (KFP v2)
• Train models on GPUs and manage GPU resources within Kubernetes
• Fine-tune transformers/LLMs and track experiments via MLflow
• Build classic ML models (XGBoost, CatBoost)
• Work with data using SQL Server and DuckDB for large datasets
• Develop in Python for pipelines and integrations
• Ensure code quality through testing and CI/CD (GitLab CI)
• Operate within a zero-trust environment
