Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of commercial software development experience
- Proficiency in distributed/multi-tier systems and application development
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Micro-services, and databases
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform solutions
- Experience with Agile development and CI/CD
- Experience with automated release management tools
- Strong skills in architecture design and modeling
- Understanding of web technologies and Unix/Linux
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with Contact center ecosystem/Genesys Framework preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and direction to engineering teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams
- Drive user story analysis and develop software applications
- Own technical aspects of software development for assigned applications
- Perform hands-on software development and testing
- Drive consistent development practices
- Develop understanding of tie-ins with other systems
- Work with product managers on feature planning
- Identify opportunities for adopting new technology
- Communicate with business partners on solution design
