Qualifications
- Completed university degree with a diploma or master's in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field
- Willingness to undergo an extended security check
- Residency for at least five years in Germany or an EU member state
- Profound knowledge of Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Experience with cloud-native AI platforms
- Understanding of DevOps principles
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience in monitoring ML systems (Prometheus, Grafana, MLflow)
- Very good German and English language skills
- Willingness to undertake multi-day business trips within Europe and to non-European countries
- Knowledge of accessibility according to WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 AA in conjunction with BITV 2.0 and usability according to DIN EN ISO 9241

Responsibilities
- Build, automate, and scale machine learning pipelines in complex AI environments
- Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for ML models
- Monitor, log, and optimize performance of ML workloads
- Collaborate with data scientists on model production deployment
- Implement MLOps standards for versioning, reproducibility, and governance
- Ensure data quality and automation of training and deployment processes
- Evaluate new tools and technologies in MLOps
