Multi-Cloud Engineer

Job summary

The Multi-Cloud Engineer provides cloud engineering and programming support for customer broadcast systems, including networks with very high data security requirements. The role covers AWS and API configuration, Linux RHEL system administration, firmware and patch testing, and cloud troubleshooting and automation involving MediaLive and DynamoDB table updates. It also supports broadcast technologies spanning satellite, terrestrial television, AM/FM radio, video encoding, and streaming.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based networks requiring very high data security.
• Experience with Python, C++, and Windows shell.
• Experience with Linux and Android operating systems.
• Experience with Python, C++, and Perl scripting.
• Experience with satellite, terrestrial television, AM radio, and FM radio communications.
• Experience with video codecs, streaming technologies, and video encoding equipment and processes.
• Experience with broadcast systems and television and radio signal devices, including portable remote devices.
• Experience with IP network routing and switching.
• Experience installing, configuring, and operating broadcast equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud engineering and programming support for customer broadcast systems.
• Configure AWS cloud services and APIs.
• Administer Linux RHEL systems, including patching, server installation, firmware upgrades, and testing across firmware and patch levels.
• Troubleshoot cloud platforms, automate DynamoDB table updates, and provide input on troubleshooting toolsets.
