Network Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

As a Network Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation and continuous optimization of our network infrastructure, including Core, LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN.

Qualifications

• Expertise in heterogeneous IT environments
• Proficient with network protocols like OSPF, BGP, and modern fabric technologies
• Experienced in automation with Ansible
• Good knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud network concepts (e.g., SDN/OpenStack)

Responsibilities

• Optimize network infrastructure
• Transform to vendor-agnostic infrastructure
• Establish declarative workflows with NetBox
• Ensure CI/CD for configuration changes
• Develop network observability with streaming telemetry
• Automate network resource provisioning with REST APIs
• Troubleshoot in complex code-based environments
