Job summary
The Network Automation Engineer role is centered on developing and managing the network Source of Truth (SSoT) and automated assurance platforms using Nautobot and IP Fabric. Responsibilities include maintaining Python automation, administering IP Fabric, and enhancing operational efficiency for NOC and Managed Services teams through automation.
Qualifications
- demonstrable experience of network automation (NetDevOps) in production environments
- hands-on experience with Nautobot (or NetBox)
- preferable experience with IP Fabric
- strong Python skills
- solid automation tooling experience
Responsibilities
- Own, develop and govern Nautobot as the network Source of Truth
- Administer IP Fabric across customer estates
- Develop and maintain Python automation
- Operate and maintain the platforms
- Support NOC and Managed Services teams by automating L1 triage
