Job summary
The Network & Infrastructure Engineer designs and maintains secure, reliable, and highly available IT systems across engineering, manufacturing, and test facilities. The role covers Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, VMware and Proxmox virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery. It also supports Linux systems and infrastructure automation, resolves incidents, and maintains technical documentation and operational standards.

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise networks
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, routing, switching, segmentation, and redundancy
- Practical experience administering firewalls, VPNs, routers, and managed switches
- Experience managing VMware-based production infrastructure
- Knowledge of storage, backup, and disaster recovery
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Experience maintaining technical documentation and operational processes
- Professional written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
- Manage VMware and Proxmox virtualized environments and associated storage platforms
- Maintain high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness across multiple locations
- Support Linux systems, infrastructure automation, and continuous improvement
- Resolve infrastructure incidents and provide root-cause analysis
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards
