Job summary

Pole Star is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT operations team, responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining network and infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing mid-size network architectures.
• Understanding of data center technologies and cloud platforms.
• Expertise with enterprise firewalls and high-availability designs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve incidents quickly.
• Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation.
• Support remote access solutions and VPN connectivity.
• Design secure and resilient solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines.
• Oversee storage systems and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor and maintain backups and storage systems.
• Patch and update servers and networking equipment.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
