Job summary
The Network Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising IT infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and reliability across the enterprise environment. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco and Meraki technologies, as well as administering Zscaler and managing Microsoft Entra services. The position is a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract, supporting business growth within the Infrastructure Team.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar technical role
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst, Meraki dashboard, and associated LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi technologies
- Solid experience with cloud networking technology
- Experience with network access control
- Experience with FortiGate firewalls and associated tools
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLAN) and enterprise firewall and proxy solutions
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for infrastructure tasks
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising IT infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and reliability across the enterprise environment
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco and Meraki technologies and network access control
- Administer and optimise Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
- Manage, identify, and access services using Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory), including conditional access, MFA, and SSO configurations
- Oversee and support Nutanix HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure), including configuration, storage provisioning, and cluster management
- Administer and support existing FortiGate firewall appliances
