Job summary

The Observability Platform Engineer role focuses on designing and building a monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting platform for large-scale infrastructure environments. Key responsibilities include developing telemetry pipelines, implementing SLO/SLI frameworks, and integrating observability tooling with incident management workflows, utilizing technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate observability platform components
• Build telemetry pipelines capable of handling high cardinality, high volume data
• Define and implement SLO/SLI frameworks and alerting strategies
• Partner closely with service delivery and operations teams
• Integrate observability tooling with incident management workflows
• Continuously improve detection speed and reduce mean-time-to-detect (MTTD) and mean-time-to-resolve (MTTR)
• Contribute to the roadmap for AI-assisted operations tooling
• Own the reliability, scalability, and security of the observability stack
• Document architecture, runbooks, and operational practices
