Job summary

The Oracle Cloud Architect role is essential for ensuring the reliability, availability, security, and performance of healthcare systems within the Oracle Cloud environment supporting Cerner. Responsibilities include designing and automating cloud infrastructure using Terraform, engaging in DevOps activities, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance cloud architecture and service continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Administrative, organizational, work planning and control skills
• Knowledge of the impacts of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples in health contexts
• Understanding of legislative obligations and commitments within program contexts

Responsibilities

• Maintain the reliability, availability and security of the Oracle Cloud platform
• Support cloud infrastructure design, deployment, automation, and management using Terraform
• Participate in DevOps, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support activities
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve cloud architecture and scalability
• Support integrations and enterprise services connected to the Cerner platform
