Job summary
The Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer will design and manage Oracle OCI environments, develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and related technologies
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Ability to design high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience with Oracle OEM Cloud Control
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
- Knowledge of database security best practices
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to provide 24/7 support
Responsibilities
- Design and manage Oracle OCI environments
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services
- Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server
- Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and Ansible
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams
- Proactively identify and resolve issues
- Document and train on best practices
