Job summary

Design, build, automate, and maintain core data platforms for seamless data management and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, CKA/CKAD) are an asset
• Experience in Kubernetes/container orchestration is a plus
• 5+ years of software engineering and infrastructure experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud solution design
• Production Kubernetes experience is a strong asset
• Experience in databases and data engineering for clinical data
• SAS Viya and Medidata administration experience is a plus
• Exposure to regulated environments and GxP is a strong asset
• Strong ownership and accountability for platforms
• Ability to balance engineering and compliance requirements
• Focus on continuous improvement through automation

Responsibilities

• Design, write and ship production-grade frontend and backend code for automation and integrations
• Manage CI/CD on Azure DevOps including deployment pipelines and documentation
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
• Support new releases for the central data repository and data pipelines
• Collaborate with teams to optimize data architecture and analytics capabilities
• Automate deployment and provisioning for SAS Viya on Kubernetes
• Administer Medidata including user access and configuration
• Implement platform observability through monitoring and performance management
• Ensure secure and cost-aware cloud workloads
• Provide CSV documentation for owned platforms
