Job summary
Build and operate infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and control-plane guardrails for an enterprise AI capability that enables secure, governed deployment of AI services at scale. The role supports AI-enabled tools and model and agent lifecycles across cloud, on-premises, air-gapped, and classified environments, using AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices while supporting RMF/ATO accreditation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and at least 10 years of experience, or a master's degree and at least 8 years of experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Advanced proficiency in DevOps principles and practices.
- Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience managing and maintaining AI model lifecycles.
- Familiarity with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their infrastructure implications.
Responsibilities
- Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise AI infrastructure in cloud, on-premises, air-gapped, and classified environments.
- Develop workflows for AI model and agent development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI models, agents, and applications.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage AI model and agent versioning, monitoring, and scaling.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to improve deployments and resource utilization.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, security, and scalability, and support RMF/ATO accreditation.
- Research and implement DevOps tools and practices to improve efficiency.
